We know that handing your child over to someone else is a huge decision for any parent and we take the responsibility you pass us, incredibly seriously. Our staff are experienced in Early Years and genuinely love being with children all day long!
At preschool, to help the children identify their names we give them a picture name. You might spot some below for the adults too!

About me...
Hello, I'm Laura and the manager of Tytherington Pre-School.
I joined the Pre-School committee as treasurer when my son started in 2016. I loved the feel of the preschool so decided to join the staff as deputy manager when he started school, and I am now manager of the Pre-School.
After completing A Levels, I went straight to college to complete my NNEB. I quickly started my career in childcare, firstly as a Nanny were I looked after 2 girls. I stayed in that same job for 17 years until they could drive themselves around!
My favorite part of working in the early years sector is the funny things the children say, watching them grow in confidence and develop their own little characteristics.
Outside of Pre-School I enjoy playing netball and going on walks with my Labrador, Ivy.
My weekends seem to be taken up taking my son to his various sporting activities.

Hi I’m Chiyo, the Deputy Manager and Health and Safety Officer at Tytherington Preschool.
I am in the process of completing Level 2 Early Years Practitioner. I have worked at the preschool for 3 years and feel lucky to be working with such a professional team and caring committee.
Before beginning my career at the preschool I worked within the NHS with families that had children whom suffered with complex needs.
I am married with 3 children and we all love pets, animal crazy! We have 3 ponies called Barney, Bandit and Henry, a horse called Woody and a loopy spaniel called Spud!
Myself and my youngest daughter are very keen equestrians, having always loved competing I am a member of a Riding Club and compete to represent the club.
We are an active family and enjoy long walks in the forest exploring the countryside. We also love travelling.

Hi I'm Rachel, I am a Preschool Practitioner at Tytherington Preschool.
I have worked at Tytherington Preschool as a Bank Staff member for the last 2 years, and have recently joined the team as a permanent member of staff.
I have lived in the local area for many years and I love giving back to the local community.
